Company Policies:
- Please speak up at anytime if we can make your visit more
enjoyable. All Sales are Final so your feedback is welcomed and needed to
provide you an ultimate customized experience.
- Our Staff work extremely hard to serve our clients. Gratuities
are not mandatory but are industry standard, and always appreciated. Gratuities
on average range anywhere between 15% - 30%+ of the Full Spa Service Price.
- There is a minimum 15% gratuity required on the full price of
all spa services for parties of three or more or for parties/individuals who
schedule 5 or more appointments at once with the exception of a 20% required
minimum gratuity will be added to the full price of nail services. We encourage
you to take advantage of our packages and discounts however please recognize
that gratuities should not be discounted on top of discounted appointment
prices.
- Spa Packages will have 20% gratuities added on all nail
services and 15% added on all other spa services based upon the full price of
appointments unless noted otherwise.
- A 50% deposit is required to schedule any appointment for all
clients, old and new. 48 hours notice is required for all appointments and
cancellations or else the deposit is nonrefundable. A 10% change/cancellation
fee applies to all cancellations. Changing or rescheduling an appointment (not
keeping the originally scheduled appointment time) is considered a
"cancellation". Spa Newbury appreciates customers who make and keep their
appointment(s). If you are unable to keep your appointment we request as much
notice as possible to cancel. (Potential) clients who make and cancel multiple
appointments may not be able to obtain or receive future appointments or
services. Spa Week, Spa Month and other participation programs and specials may
have different cancellation policies - please refer to the promotional
literature of these services prior to scheduling.
- Please phone our office at 617-262-9464 if you need to
schedule, change, cancel or alter your appointment in any way. Please feel free
to submit written correspondence (email, USPS, etc.) in addition to your phone
call.
- The balance of services (and any minimum gratuities) are due at
the end of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover,
American Express Travelers Checks, Spa Newbury Gift Cards, Spa Week Gift
Certificates and Cash. Gift Cards may not be used for meals or gratuities.
SpaWish and Spa Finder Gift Certificates may only be used for regular priced
individual appointments (not discounted spa packages or other promotional
services). Gifty Box Passes are for Endermologie Consults only. Checks are not
accepted.
- Spa Newbury is not responsible for a client who looses their
own or someone else's Gift Card. Lost and stolen cards can not be replaced.
Please file a police report should you loose/have a Gift Card stolen so that
any inappropriate misuse of the Card can be treated properly.
- All gift card orders will be processed with a $5 shipping
charge with delivery confirmation receipt. Any client who wishes to pick up a
gift card order that day and does not will forfeit their card and entire
purchase. We do not hold gift cards and recommend shipping with delivery
confirmation receipt.
- Clients who do not regularly keep their appointments, are
tardy, etc. will be subject to scheduling terms as appropriately determined by
management.
- Please leave plenty of time to arrive at our busy Newbury
Street location where there is limited parking on our one-way street. Lateness
may be deduced from a client's appointment time or service. We ask that a
client at minimum be on time and no more than 1/2 an hour early for an
appointment.
- "No-shows" which prevent us from offering the appointment time
to another will result in a full priced charge to the no-show client.
- Children and Guests of clients can not be accommodated in our
Small Boutique Spa. All Spa Newbury space is allocated and reserved for clients
and services only.
- Cell Phones & Pagers must be turned off and may not be used
within our Spa. We request clients to be mindful of others by keeping their
voices down and refraining from loud or inappropriate conduct.
- Spa Newbury reserves the right to cancel any erroneously made
appointments or appointments we feel can not be appropriately satisfied.
- Spa Newbury reserves the right to make appropriate
substitutions when necessary between products, services, order of treatments,
practitioners and anything else necessary to provide efficient spa
business.
- Discounted Spa Packages are scheduled in the most convenient
order for Spa Newbury. Clients may choose their order of service with regularly
priced services (only).
- We take sexual remarks or suggestions in our Spa seriously.
Said behavior will result in the client being asked to leave with full payment
due. The Boston Police Department will be notified of the incident.
- Spa Newbury is not responsible for lost or left-behind items.
All items must be claimed within a 30 day period.
- Spa Newbury is not responsible for typos or erroneously
provided information. Please notify management immediately if you feel you have
received or see erroneous information.
- Should a client be dissatisfied or have a complaint, we request
that the incident be reported immediately and at most, within a 30 day time
period.
- Company policies may be updated and changed with or without
notice as deemed appropriate for Spa Newbury to maintain a healthy professional
business practice.
- In rare occasions, w may take returns on skin products. The
product must be returned with the sales receipt. Product returns will be issued
a gift card credit for products or services. Other than this rare circumstance
- All Sales are Final.
